Hemp Farming Cultivation
When we consider hemp as a commodity, one should keep in mind that the uses of hemp are enormous and in varied respects. There has also been extensive research that has developed on the lines of hemp being used as a popular biomass. The genus Cannabis and the entire plant varieties that fall under it are commonly termed as hemp. Since hemp can be cultivated keeping in mind of the different ways that it can be put to use, it is grown in different varieties in different countries.
Hemp cultivation has been seen in process from the ancient Chinese population to the present day when there is a marked development of the techniques deployed to cultivate hemp. Hemp that would be later used for the making of fiber is planted closely which results in tall and slender plants that provide with long fibers. It has been thoroughly researched that the herb should be harvested before it flowers. With the flowering the fiber quality declines and this also pre-empts the maturity of the herb as a potential drug material.
The seed should be new and the quality must be good; one can determine it by the shining color that it possesses. The quality of the land, the stagnant water and the perfect arrangement of the hemp plants are the defining factors for a good cultivation of the hemp plants. The grain matures and should be plucked around thirteen or fourteen weeks from the time of planting the seeds. The broken and swingled hemp is then processed through machines and laborers and then forwarded for manufacture.
