Hemp Aroma Therapy

Aromatherapy is everywhere today; there are all types of items that claim to help with aromatherapy. These items can be found in grocery stores, they can be found in local Wal-Mart or anywhere else, they come in sprays, candles, air fresheners and other things. Many of these are made with man-made scents, which actually have little or no aromatherapy value.

This is where hemp aromatherapy is different, there are properties found in this plant that are naturally calming to the human olfactory senses. Hemp aromatherapy uses hemp oil from the seeds of the plant. This is made into massage oils, soaps and lotions that helped to rejuvenate not only the skin that also the mind.

Hemp a aroma therapy is not only used to relax it is also used as a way to treat muscle spasms that are caused by nervousness, stress, mental fatigue, arthritis and other muscular problems. This type of aromatherapy is becoming more popular because of the powerful effect it can have on the body, due to the natural makeup of the industrial hemp plant.

The hemp plant should not be confused since it is named cannabis sativa and is not the same as the marijuana plant, but is from the same family, along with nettles and other plants. This means there is no dangerous level of THC, but the amount of the industrial hemp is almost nonexistent, in the marijuana plant there are levels of THC that can be as high as 20 percent. Meaning that is completely safe for use in aromatherapy, in foods and four other products.
